Before you laugh (or get angry), don't dismiss this claim. Take a moment to consider that this is a serious issue for many people, and this type of unfair hiring practice happens often.

I know this topic comes as a shock to many of you; however, if you consider yourself as a VERY attractive person, and you are searching for a job, you'd better listen up...

Sometimes, being "too" attractive can actually hurt your chances of getting hired!
Sad, but so true!

Consider This: A receptionist being turned down for a job out of fear that she would cause "traffic jams" or file a harassment charge.

Consider This: A qualified manager not getting a second interview because he looks like he just received the "Best Dressed Man of the Year" award to all the guys in his department.

Let's not forget, hiring authorities are human beings that sometimes struggle with the same insecurities as the next person. Some of them fear what could happen if a more attractive, better dressed, or more intelligent person worked in their department.
